But yet, to some micracle, I am still here today. 

To be honest?

Even I’m unsure of how I’ve made it this far. 

When it would have been so easy on so many occasions to  give up and end it all, I haven’t. 

And for that, I am proud of myself. 

And if you take anything away from my story then let it be this: 

It’s hard to beat the person who never gives up. 

Please, be under no illusion, I’ve wanted to give up more times than I can count. 

And I’ve been closer to giving up more times than I’m scared to share. 

But I am still here today because I refused to give up.

I lost my parents to alcohol when I was just a child, experienced every form of abuse in foster care, and thought about ending my own life.

But I didn’t.  And I couldn’t. And if I haven’t given up, when I’ve had every possible reason to, then you shouldn’t either.  

I don’t know what you’ve been through in your life. Maybe it’s similar to my story or maybe it isn’t. 

But if I’ve learnt anything in life it is that it doesn’t matter what you’re going through, if you keep going and refuse to give up, nothing can beat you. Nothing. 

It’s taken more than 10 years to share my story in this way. I guess, up until now, I’ve felt ashamed… even embarrassed. 

It’s hard being vulnerable I guess. But the reason why I have decided to share my story with you now is because I want to help you write the next chapter in your story.

I’ve spent most of my life being angry.  

Angry at my mother for her addiction to alcohol. 

Angry at my father for leaving me the way he did. 

Angry at the system for exposing me to the abuse I faced in foster care.

Angry at all of the other kids for how easy they’ve had it.

But yet today? I am no longer angry. 

For what I have learnt is that anger is weak. 

It doesn’t make you any stronger. 

It doesn’t take away the pain. 

And it certainly doesn’t lead to happiness. 

Instead I’ve learnt to let go of my anger through forgiveness. 

Forgiveness to my mother that she had an addiction to a drug. 

Forgiveness to my father that he died of a broken heart.

And yes, even forgiveness to the foster care system for what they did to me. 

By finding forgiveness in my heart, I’ve found peace. 

A peace that has soothed the soul for the pain it’s endured and greater than this, I’ve found a purpose to not give up and to share my story to inspire others to do the same.

That purpose for me is my 7 year old daughter who reminds me every day why I am still here and why I can’t (ever) give up. 

She is the reason why I get out of bed each morning and she is the reason why I will do whatever it takes to create a better life for her and for our family. 

It’s kind of crazy…

To think that if I had of given up when it would have been so easy to, I wouldn’t have experienced the greatest gift to come into my life. 

Similarly, when a caterpillar thinks its come to the end of its life it turns into a beautiful butterfly. 

And that is my message to you today: 

The best is still to come for you in your life.

And better yet, you are in control of your life. 

A life that I would love nothing more than to be apart of and help you discover your own purpose and become your potential.

The real reason why I am still here today and work towards my goals every single day is because of my purpose. That purpose is my 7 year old daughter, Lexi. During the darkest days of my childhood through to the challenges and obstacles that cross my path today, I don’t allow them to defeat me because I have a strong enough why. This reminds me on a daily basis that I can bear almost any how. 

This girl here is my purpose. She is my daily reminder to never give up and to always fight for what I want in life. When I’m struggling and want to hide away from the world, she is the reason why I show up. And for that, I’m grateful.

There’s no two ways about it… life has dealt me a bad hand, but as I continue through my journey in life, I am beginning to learn that it’s less about what happens to you and more about what can happen for you. 

It’s made me incredibly vulnerable sharing my story with you, but my hope is, that through me sharing it you can find inspiration in it. 

I don’t know what you’ve been through nor do I know what you’re going through, but what I do know is that you won’t work with a coach who is more empathetic or understanding than I am.

If my story has taught me anything it’s that we are  the authors of our own lives. I don’t know what battles you’ve gone through and I don’t know what battles are still to come for you, but what I do know is that is that today we have an opportunity to become better. Fitness is more that just burning calories, it’s about building a mental toughness to take your body outside of its comfort zone so that it has no choice but to change. And that change, is what I want to help you with today.

Not at all, we have a range of programmes suited towards different fitness abilities. 

If you're ready to go all in with your goals then I'd suggest the 90 Day Bend, Don't Break programme otherwise for a slow and steady approach, I'd suggest our Beginners Weight Loss programme. 

Once you sign up (to any of the programmes) you will get immediate access to a Welcome Pack that will induct you on everything you need to know and do over the next 90 days. 

Whilst you're settling in with this, I will be getting to work on your workout and nutrition plan. This is usually sent to you within 2-3 working days. 

Once these are ready, they get sent to you via email - but in the mean time you will be able to familiarise yourself with our Mighty Networks App along with getting yourself ready with any workout gear you may need, food shopping, etc.

The Bend, Don't Break is a personalised programme. This means our nutrition approach will be tailored not only to your goals but also your wants. This is really important because if you don't like meal plans then guess what? You won't be on a meal plan and instead our approach will be more structured (as opposed to restrictive). 

You don't need to do anything you don't want to do. 

That said, the reason why we ask for measurements such as weight and before photos is so that we can show you tangible progress you will be making 2, 4, 8 weeks down the line. 

Whatsmore is that ALL photos and data is kept strictly confidential. Your photos will NEVER be shared (anywhere) without prior consent. 

But with all of this said, if you still don't feel comfortable then it's quite simple: you don't need to send over your photos...BUT I would suggest taking them for your own eyes so that in 2, 4 and 8 weeks time you can see for yourself the progress you're making.

Flexibility is just one pillar of our workout programmes - but arguably, it's the most important.

After all, there is NO point in doing any training programme if you just end up getting injured (and trust me, I've been there).

Therefore this programme is just as much about getting you stronger, fitter and leaner as it is about getting you more mobile and flexible. 

I want to bulletproof your body so that it is free from injury! 

I completely understand but I want to reassure you by saying I won't let you give up on your goals because I know how much they mean to you.
